If you dont mind a 20 bucks price increase, then I'd suggest the GameSir X2 Pro, comparing the X2 Pro vs the Kishi V1: If you dont mind the older looking Kishi V1, and price is a thing, then the Kishi V1 is still very solid. Leaving me with the GameSir X2 Pro and Razer Kishi V1. Then I realy hate the cheap Joy-Con style thumbsticks, and want the more bigger travel of PS and XBOX style thumbsticks. That brings me to the GameSir X2 Pro, Razer Kishi V1 and V2, Backbone. I often play games which does use the analog triggers, like racing, or games via the Steam Link app, and I need at least analog triggers. The app to update the firmware wasn't available for me to install, so I don't know for sure why it wasn't available, or if it's available at all anymore.Looks a bit outdated next to the other controllers, very bulky looking.Analogue triggers feel a bit cheap, they make a grinding sound when pressed, plastic touching plastic. The collapsing mechanism makes the bridge weak and flimsy, only for certain phones it will feel solid.Smaller and thus less comfortable for bigger hands The M1 and M2 buttons are not mappable to other keycodes, only to existing buttons (you could map them to 元 and R3 so you dont have to press the thumbsticks)įace buttons are a bit too clicky when in a quiet environment The M1 and M2 buttons are placed inconvenient for people with longer fingers. Joy-con style thumbsticks, with a very short trafel in all directions, huge downgrade against the Kishi V1.Second nicest app (when mostly using cloud gaming or steam link, the app doesnt add that much).Clicky face buttons (but lack a bit of travel for my taste, a bit too clicky).Joy-con style thumbsticks, with a very short trafel in all directions.Slightly bigger than the Kishi V2 and thus more comfortable for bigger hands.Nicest app (when mostly using cloud gaming or steam link, the app doesnt add that much). The M1 and M2 buttons are not mappable to other keycodes, only to existing buttons (you could map them to 元 and R3 so you dont have to press the thumbsticks).Replaceable magnetic face buttons (for example change to switch style layout).Replaceable thumbstick caps with different feel included. The M1 and M2 buttons are on the back, and do not interfere with using the controller.Clicky dome buttons (not too clicky, and not too mushy).Analog sticks with large travel (like XBOX/PS controllers), not those joy-con types.Hall effect analogue triggers, not grinding. The GameSir app is not very nice, but does the job (updating firmware and virtual button mapping).Cooling fan might a bit gimmicky, also needs external powersource to use, and isn't removeable.Slightly more heavy then the backbone style controllers (Kishi V2 and Backbone One).No analogue triggers (only direct button triggers).Cooling fan could help, but only if you play on the phone itself, doesn't do much when only playing cloud gaming or steam link.Replaceable magnetic facebuttons (for example change to switch style layout).I was going blind with the controllers, and bought all of them to test out which I like more, which features are important to me, and so drill down to the one which fits my needs the most. I was quite new to this, and I mostly play via the Steam Link app when the TV is in use. I bought a bunch of wrap-on controllers (controllers which snap on the phone).
